My projectgroup is working on a project that has an upload dir. We ofcourse exclude the upload dir from our SVN. This means that we don't share these files. We do share the DB since it's stored on the server. Which often means that a record include an uri to a file which isnt on our computer.
In previous projects I remember working with virtual directories for our upload directory (the virtual directory pointed to a directory on a local server). But due to certain circumstances we can't use IIS. Does anyone know if there is any other way to realize virtual directories?.
PS We run Windows 7, and I tried 'NTFS Link' but it only throws errors...
