I just recently survived a virus attack on my computer thanks to avg, but I think my iPod has not. I used to be able to sync my iPod into iTunes but now it doesn't, in fact I tried installing several media programs that are like iTunes but the results are the same even though I can see my iPod in the computer.I also see an error pop up that says that the iPod service module has been blocked by DEP (data execution protection). I tried turning off the DEP on iTunes but it gives me an error stating that it must have it on. the only good news is that I can still listen to music in my iPod but I really want to get some new ones. I don't want to use anyone's else computer because I'm afraid the virus might be still in my iPod(which was in my computer and jumped to my iPod)
my operating system is windows vista and my iPod is one of those old small iPod shuffle with no screen and has a USB connection on the bottom.
