MacBook Pro Early 2008 doesn't detect ssd

It is driving me nuts. I already cloned my system. If I boot the ssd using the USB enclosure, the system starts fine.

But, if I connect it to the Sata adapter inside, it simply doesn't recognize it...

I checked my SMC firmware is up to date...

	... What error message ? It simply doesn't detect a disk had been attached. Anyway, sick and tired of the lame Mac business model (e.g. Won't release the firmware that enables 3.0G SATA in old Mac model). Three years using Mac for everything, I am going back to the PC world. – thinkanotherone Dec 30 '11 at 18:50
