When I watch (stream) a long video, on NovaMov for example, it will eventually become jumpy/poorer in quality (as if it's laggy, although it could be fully loaded).

Is there anything I can do to limit a process' (tab's) demand? Or anything I can do at all to stop this? Is this just a common problem with Chrome?

Notes:

  • Google Chrome 16.0.912.63 m
  • Windows 7, 32 bit
  • It is especially annoying for things like movies where you might leave the whole thing load but then halfway through you've to close the tab and reopen another one and load from where you left off. Surely this problem is applicable to demands other than video but this is just an example.
  • It doesn't just effect the tab in question, it effects all tabs.
