The title gives away what I'm aiming at; I'm looking for something like Keepass but with the additional ability to save notes (yes, I know you can put notes in sub-box in account information in Keepass, but it's not exactly the best of solutions) and to backup things from and to Chrome (Keepass / Chrome doesn't work all that well).

Anyone know of some little program that would make me happy?

p.s. I'm not interested in online solutions at all.

Keepass already includes the ability to store attachments. If this is what you mean by 'notes in sub-box', then could you explain why this is 'not exactly the best of solutions', and describe something that might be 'the best of solutions'? Otherwise we'll just be playing guessing games. – JRobert Jan 6 at 20:30
@JRobert - As Phil mentioned below, I'm looking for something like RoboForm's "notes" feature. Just like Keepass has for logins/passes, RoboForm has a "Add Note" (or something similar) and then you get a large field where you can type in your text and save it with the rest of your data. Yes, I know keepass has that field below, but it doesn't really handle a lot of characters correctly. All those "vertical lines" and such. ... Unfortunatelly, I had no luck with RoboForm since it makes my browser slow and unstable to no end. – ldigas Jan 6 at 21:09

You should check out RoboForm made by Siber Systems. It was the first password manager / form filler on the market and is still the best.

With the newest version you can use it on literally any mobile device, tablet, phone or computer.

You can download it from RoboForm.com and try it for the first month for free and it will probably be exactly what you are looking for.

They are also the only password manager to offer live phone support if you have any questions.

I've actually used roboform for a while (it came with a laptop i inherited from a coleague). It is a very nice system, much better than keepass in that respect. Unfortunatelly, (this is all from what i recall, from that time) it made my browser slow and unusable whenever more than, i don't know, 5 tabs were open. I've done a bit of writing and sending mails to them, they responded, but couldn't find what exactly was the problem. Don't know if anything changed in the newer versions. – ldigas Jan 6 at 21:15
