I'm in the middle of creating a tap bell in Illustrator CS5 for a logo. I seem to be having problems with the Gaussian Blur effect under Effects > Photoshop Effects > Blur > Gaussian Blur.
Whenever I try to apply the effect with a 5px radius and it renders, the results are choppy when at 100%. When I zoom in to around 200%, it starts to becomes clear, like it should (I have used the effect before and this is a first).
I've attempted several methods to fix such as enlarging then exporting to photoshop for cropping as well as bumping up the radius, but I get the same results.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
