I have a number of Konica Minolta Bizhub C20 MFPs at my office. I have recently upgraded our workstations to Windows 7 x64 (new PCs, clean OEM install).
Using the ICC color profile which comes with the printer driver results in almost all-black prints (with the original document content almost completely covered).
After installing the driver on each machine I have removed the color profile (logged in as Domain Admin, Color Management, All Profiles).
This has resolved the issue in almost all instances. However on one machine this color profile reappears within a few hours and is automatically activated, ruining any prints from this machine. I can re-remove it (and re-resolve the issue) but the profile appears again after a few hours.
- The driver was installed manually (did not ship with the system and is not available on Windows Update)
- After removal, the ICC file is no longer present in C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color
- There are no group policies acting on that machine/user which relate to printer drivers or color profiles
I would like to avoid reinstalling Windows in this instance (we have no WDS or other imaging infrastructure at this location)
