I am looking for a

  1. Multi-os support (Linux, iPod Touch, Windows 7)
  2. GTD
  3. Reminders
  4. Ability to add recurring task

So does the native calendar fit the bill or do i need to go for third-party app(my fav is wunderlist).

Many old Android users use Astrid I think (at least before it removed RTM sync)... The native calendar app is not very friendly for task management. – billc.cn Jan 7 at 22:21
