I recently reinstalled my ubuntu 10.10 system and noticed that menu items were missing.
my view menu doesn't have icon view or list view options (any way to change the view) and my edit menu doesn't have a preferences item.
the .gconf file is identical since I backed it up and dropped it in. I couldn't save most of my other settings but I did that one.
is there a way to get these back?
