Looking for a portal engine to do the scenario below? Looking at Liferay but failing to get the right answers elsewhere. Can someone help with advice (or other portal suggestion)

I have a set of software. This software gets rebranded to various resellers specifications. Some resellers might have various rebrands (for each of there sub-resellers)

I would like to create a portal where a reseller can logon and all the branded software links he should have access to is available to him.

Eg lets say there are 4 different rebrands:

Rebrand-A - Docs (constant for all brands) - Installers (different filenames between brands, updated frequently with new versions)

Rebrand-B - Docs - Installers

Rebrand-c - Docs - Installers

Rebrand-D - Docs - Installers

Then 4 users:

User1 - Acecces to Rebrand-A User2 - Acecces to Rebrand-B & D User3 - Acecces to Rebrand-A, C & D User4 - Acecces to Rebrand-D

I'm not sure how to set this up within liferay if this is supported. On the liferay forum I've seen similar questions and no answers.

To confirm. Is the rebranding that of downloadabled or of the portal? If I understand your intent, you can probably achieve this through a combination of communities and organizations and granting appropriate memberships and rights. – Atul patel Jan 13 at 23:06
