Does anybody know where I can get very detailed architecture (pdf preferably) on the architecture for the latest Intel chips? I did a google search but I just got a few 3-page pdfs and nothing significant (like a reference document).

Have you tried looking for white-papers on the Intel site? If you won't find it there, it could be that this info is not free and requires you to register with Intel's developer's program to get access. – Traveling Tech Guy Jan 14 at 23:39
