I am running Nook for PC v. 2.5.5.9347 (local software only, not the tablet) under Windows 7. It seems to work fine, but if I shut the lid on my laptop, and later open it up again, Nook puts up message box saying:
Nook for PC needs to restart
Putting that error message into Google pops up a few relevant links from Barnes & Noble's forums, but people asked these questions in the wrong fora, so most of them are off topic. The others offer generic suggestions like reinstalling, etc., which have not worked. It seems as if the company barely acknowledges that people are experiencing it, despite evidence to the contrary, but there's been no resolution offered.
Is there any actual resolution to this, or are there any hidden settings within the software to prevent this from happening? It's an annoyance at this point, but I'd like to avoid having to restart the software 10 times a day.
