I recently started using a USB internet modem (through service provider VIP Serbia) on my MacBook (OSX) and have since had consistent problems with the computer completely freezing and locking up. Once, a dark gray window even took over the screen telling me there was a serious problem and I needed to shut down and restart. Has anyone else had a similar problem with a USB modem and/or know if/how this problem can be solved?
