I'd like to import sms to my new iPhone 4s. I have got sms list in text/csv format exported from WM6 and Symbian.

I know that iPhone stores messages in SQLite database which I can copy (from iTunes backup) and work with. My phone is not jailbroken and I'm not going to do this.

So I have 2 questions. 1. Can you suggest ready solution (appstore app). 2. If not, can I copy Iphone sms.db, open it, insert messages, save and then sync with iPhone?

What i would usggest is to use Gmail. Import your contacts to Gmail account. Then setup in iphone Mail, exchange server to gmail.. it will downlaod all the contacts, and calendars :) it also stays in synch, so you can use another phone with the same settings, add a numebr on phone 2 and it will show on google and phone 1.. Deleting on 1 system will delete on all.. the best way to store your contact.. and never loose them if your phone dies or gets stolen, and if you upgrade to iphone5, it very simple to import it again withou using 1900's csv poopoo – ppumkin Jan 23 at 14:01
But I don't have any problem with sync. I just want to migrate my SMS. As I know Google doesn't support this. I met lots of apps that export messages but none of them imports them =( – San4ez Jan 24 at 5:46
