I'm using Win7, 32 bit. I have a subdirectory under Documents which has several subdirectories. Example: Documents\level1\level2. At level2 there are, lets say 10 subdirectories. In each of these I have a file with the same name, let's say temp.txt. When I navigate to level1 in file manager I see 10 files with the name temp.txt. How do I turn this off?

What do you mean by "File Manager"? Windows Explorer? – dsolimano Jan 23 at 21:59

Are you viewing your Documents Folder or Documents Library? Are you searching for the file by name (etc.), or does it do this with no search terms entered? – techie007 Jan 23 at 22:19
