First of all I am stuck using Visio 2003.
My Visio drawing has an embedded Excel worksheet, and when creating a label for a shape or connector I want to use a text value in the embedded Excel file. The goal would be to update the Excel worksheet and not need to make the same update in the Visio diagram. Is this possible?
Excel embedded in Visio, or Visio in Excel, either way would work, as long as there is only a single file to distribute and no external links.
