On an old Toshiba laptop I had, it had a media mode you could boot into with a special button that was just a very simple, keyboard-controlled media center. It booted immediately and was nice for just watching movies or listening to music. A couple laptops later, I'm wanting to turn my old HP into a media center, constantly hooked up to the TV. Is there a similar media mode "OS" that I could install to give it an immediate start capability?
