I have installed vncserver on my ubuntu server 11.10, if I run a gui application (using export DISPLAY to vnc istance) and I use a vncviewer, when I press the 'd' key in the viewer every windows get minimized.

I found a solution on other forums that says to change: System->Control Center->Keyboard Shortcuts but it works only on ubuntu desktop, I have no gui, how is it possible to change this key binding from command line?

... What? No GUI means no windows. So, the "minimize all windows" key does nothing... and as this is a function of the client... you can't make the server change this behavior. – TheCompWiz Jan 25 at 19:05
I have windows through vncserver, I've exported display to localchost:1 and then I launched the gui application from command line. Windows are showed in the vncviewer session. Do you have any solution? – Orlando Jan 30 at 14:12
