Are there any good, reliable apps for Windows that provide Google Calendar notifications, similar to how the Outlook appointment reminders work?

I've tried a couple, the latest of which is called Atchoo. Most of these seem to be open source projects that died a long time ago. Atchoo crashes after about 10 minutes on Windows 7 64-bit.

The Chrome desktop notifications are OK, but you have to have the calendar page open all the time for them to work.

I'd like to have reminders pop up and stay visible until I dismiss them. A snooze feature would also be nice.

Any suggestions?
