I have three monitors plugged into my Ubuntu 11.10 install. I have it set where if I don't touch the keyboard/mouse after five minutes then it puts the cpu to sleep. When I hit the keyboard/mouse to resume the computer, only 1 out of the 3 monitors will come on. When the cpu is sleeping all of the monitor power leds turn from blue to orange - I click the mouse/keyboard and only 1 turns from orange to blue and turns on, the other two monitors keep the orange led light and acts as if the computer is still asleep. I have to then turn on/off the remaining two monitors for them to turn back on.
