If you have DSL broadband on a computer, would it be possible to get Internet on WiFi enabled mobile via bluetooth? If not and why not?

What do you mean? You want a mobile phone to get internet access through the computer? By connecting via bluetooth? Or WiFi? – slhck Jan 27 at 11:14
I mean connect via bluetooth or Wifi if possible without a WiFi router. All it has to do transmit radiowaves right? – user1032421 Jan 27 at 11:20

You would need to setup internet sharing or a proxy server on your pc, you would then have to set the proxy on your mobile device to tell it to connect through this. Its a bit of an oldskool way of doing things as most mobile devices now have wifi built in which is a lot better and faster and secure, plus you don't have to go through the pain in the ass of setting up a proxy as the device can just connect directly to the internet through the router..
