I have weird blue lines on startup along with weird symbols. Windows fails to start. System restore not working. I can go into safe mode. Thinking video card is overheated, but i dont do gaming and tower is a bit dusty but nothing bad.

Is it a removable video card, with another one available on the motherboard? If so, removing the card and trying the motherboard one might demonstrate if this is a video card fault or not. – pjc50 Jan 30 at 15:28
