I have a hp laserjet (B/W) 4100printer connected via usb cable to a GRE computer and I have put that printer in sharing.
But the problem is that - I have a laptop with windows vista OS and I want use that HP laserjet 4100 printer.
I put the ip address of the GRE computer and I see the printer is shared then I clicked on connect and it started installing the driver but When it is getting installed, it is asking for administrative password and I also typed the administrator password but it gives me an error message i.e "Operation Requires Elevation".
Why this error is coming and is their any other way to install the shared printer so that to avoid this error?
