I asked this on serverfault and they sent me here...

I was publishing a website through vs2010 and later on a different IP with filezilla and both times after some 10-20 files are transferred suddenly the server doesnt accept my requests. It responds to ping, but the ftp wont work, the http wont work, remote desktop wont work.

An hour passes and everything works fine. Until I try again and get locked out again.

So is there some configuration option for the IIS or somewhere else where I can disable this? I'm supposing it's some protection or something

I have access on it. I can edit anything. Im supposing the IIS? – Edza Feb 6 at 19:06
Your question does not make a great deal of sense. Your own server is blocking you? I am going to guess this is shared hosting. – Ramhound Feb 6 at 19:26

@BBlake This Question is a cross-post from Server Fault, where we told him the same thing, to contact the admin because there's some anti-dos software in the mix. – Chris S Feb 6 at 19:39

It's really off topic for SU as well. – BBlake Feb 6 at 19:42
