I can't open or add to my fonts folder... I'm asked for "trusted Installer" a user which (as far as I can tell does not exist.

Additionally, it also crashes Windows Explorer every time I try to open it.

What are your thoughts on how to fix this?

Why do you want to open your fonts folder? What are you trying to accomplish? – wizlog Feb 7 at 1:04

TrustedInstaller is a built-in system account, and is the Owner of most system files. Explorer uses a special Shell Extension program to open and display the Fonts folder. Evidently yours is somehow broken or missing, any idea how that may have happened? – kreemoweet Feb 7 at 3:43
No clue where it went... all I know is when I try to install new fonts it asks for permission even when I am in administer mode... I use different fonts all the time for graphics projects and some just don't show up. – WC Keg Feb 7 at 14:01
