I'm trying to remove cold fusion tags in a Word 2003 document (converted from a Word 2007 document), and I used the instructions on this page

to do so. This means that I opened the auto correction options, clicked on smart tags, and clicked on remove smart tags and saved the document. The problem is, the document still contains the smart tags, given that I see them again and again whenever I open the Word document in my Trados Studio translation application.
