I can't seem to get a bluetooth headset to work with the XP bluetooth stack. From what I understand the stack doesn't support the headset profile. Everything connects, but I can't use it.
I tried updating the driver via device manager with no luck. Unfortunately, I'm using a cheap bluetooth dongle, so there is no way to download drivers from the company website. They advise not to update the stack with anything other than the manufacturer's drivers, as different providers make different tweaks to the stack for their products.
The headset works with Bluesoliel, but it is not free. I was wondering if anyone knew of free bluetooth software, or a way to get it to work with the software included with XP.
