I'm looking for info on the socket that the upcoming Intel Ivy Bridge CPU's will use.

I found some saying that it will be LGA 1155 but the most recent article I found is at least 4 months old.

Does anyone have any confirmation or updated info on the matter?

Thanks

Still at this point it is just speculation as the all the references on wikipedia are 4 months or older... personally I don't see how it would make any sense for them to release it on lga1155 as lga2011 has more features (DDR4, PCIE3.0 comes to mind)... – Kyle Feb 9 at 21:56

There are sites that say yes and sites that say no. Until Intel releases an official announcement, there is really no way of knowing for sure. – Dennis Feb 9 at 21:58
