Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

In Google Chrome and Firefox there are plugins which allow to block Flash by default and start it, by clicking on it. This behaviour allows me to reduce CPU usage and too aggressive advertising.

In Internet Explorer 9 I have only found the option to allow/disallow ActiveX controls per site or per page. Furthermore the process of manually allowing execution of ActiveX controls is not very userfriendly.

Is there anything similar to Flashblock available for IE9?
