I have a workbook with two sheets. Each sheet has a table created using a SQL parameterized query. I am trying to just enter the parameter values on the first sheet and have the second sheet use the same parameter values to retrieve data as well.

It doesn't seem to work.

Can you not just have like A1=sheet1!A1 for all the headings? – Raystafarian Mar 5 '12 at 15:55
Yea that's what I did and the second sheet still doesn't populate with data. Since the second query is different than the first sheet's it also created a different connection to the same ODBC DSN. – clayp56 Mar 5 '12 at 18:48
If what you're trying to do is get the headers to specify the SQL query that is run, you will have a much better response on Stack Overflow – Raystafarian Mar 5 '12 at 18:50
No i am trying to get the two queries to share the same parameters. – clayp56 Mar 5 '12 at 18:53
I disagree this needs to go to Stack Overflow, if only because it would help if the OP first added more information about what he tried and edits it into the question (so don't leave critical information in the comments) – Ivo Flipse Mar 5 '12 at 19:29
