Under Windows Vista printing no longer works with the Adobe reader. The network-printer is installed in the system as standard-printer and printing from other applications work. But Adobe Reader ask to first install an printer, if you choose printing.

EDIT: Problem is solved. While all other applications recognized the new printer instantly, Adobe Reader needed a reboot for Windows to get it.
