I want to establish a Remote Desktop connection with my friends who lives in Dubai, All i want to do is, instead of me sending him the connection request he should send me the request but he shouldn't be able to see my desktop and only i can see his desktop. or in simple words the connection from his side must be outgoing.

is this possible in anyway using Windows Remote Desktop Connection

not really a stack overflow question... but the way you would normally do this is to have the remote end initiate a VPN connection and then do a normal RDP connection across the VPN.

I know MSN has an option under Actions which is Request Remote Assistance. I also believe he needs to enable Windows Remote Assistance (System Properties, remote and Allow Remote ASsitance Connections)
