I removed the 800 MHz G4 Processor then replaced it and upgraded to a Dual 1 GHz G4 Processor.

The system started with the Apple Chime and OS X 10.5.6, but then I received a kernel panic screen with errors.

Is this an OS X software nightmare?

Does the operating system think it is trying to boot to a single processor and gets confused about it? Or was I supposed to change some settings via the soldering scheme I have seen?

I get white buttons and the system just runs quiet. How do I get it to reinstall OS X?

Am I missing something with 800 Ghz? I see slhck edited this but didn't touch the, "800 ghz" part. I guess 800 Mhz? – Not Kyle stop stalking me Mar 20 '12 at 20:28
@Kyle No, that makes sense :) I just missed that entirely. – slhck Mar 20 '12 at 20:47
