The Wikipedia page on pregaps has some suggestions.

On Windows 7 (64-bit), I used the suggested Exact Audio Copy, or EAC.

  • After installing the program and inserting the cd, click on Action in the menubar and click Detect Gaps. (You can also just press F4 to do this)

  • Then, click on Action and select Append Gaps to Next Track.

  • Now if you rip the first track, the mp3/wav/flac/etc file that is created will begin with the hidden track.

  • If you wish to separate that hidden track from the audio, I used Audacity. You can use that to cut up audio files.
