When I enable the Cisco VPN Client, my (wireless LAN) Internet connection is almost immediately disabled, although I still have access to the LAN. As soon as I kill the VPN Client, the Internet connection is immediately re-established, without intervention on my part. Can anyone help me resolve this, please? Thanks John Cuddy

The VPN policy defined on the gateway does not permit access to other networks while connected. Speak to the VPN administrator and say you would like "split-tunnelling" enabled. – Paul May 10 '12 at 4:45
