I am trying to reinstall Windows 7 on my computer. I made a bootable usb flash and made the changes in the BIOS to make the USB drive primary for the boot but I am getting an error message

A disk error occurred Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart.

I tried the bootable flash on another computer and everything works fine. Please help out, this is gettig really frustrating!

Booting from flash can be problematic. Have you tried all the USB bios options, any bios updates available? Do you get any prompts to press key to boot from external device? Have you tried a different flash drive? Different sized flash drive? – BJ292 May 14 '12 at 12:53
