On my host (Ubuntu 12.04) I'm trying to mount resource which is on opensolaris:

 sshfs jj@opensolaris.dev:/home/jj /opt/opensolaris/

But I'm getting the message:

Password:
read: Connection reset by peer

All keys are valid. I don't know where the problem came from. So if you have any suggestion, I would appreciate them.

How about a regular SSH, does it have the same problem? – Cristian Ciupitu May 25 '12 at 12:29

nope, with ssh all is OK - I'm able to login – JJX May 25 '12 at 12:34

Run it with -o sshfs_debug and then update the question. – Cristian Ciupitu May 25 '12 at 12:44

that option didnt give me any extra information – JJX May 25 '12 at 14:21

Try -o sshfs_debug -o debug -o LogLevel=DEBUG3. Also, why are you saying that the keys are valid when you are asked for a password? – Cristian Ciupitu May 25 '12 at 15:40
