I tried to install windows 8 to an new hdd, but after installation i cant boot it with grub.I configured grub with sudo update-grub, it added the Windows 8 to the menu (which is instaled to sdb) but when i try to start it, it restarts the pc and reloads grub.If i remove the hdd where windows 7 and ubuntu in installed (grub is on this partition too) then it starts without any problems.

You have not cleared that all the three OS are on same HDD or on different? Not a clear question. – avirk Jun 2 '12 at 10:53
I said that windows 8 is on sdb, which means it is on a different HDD than windonws 7 and ubuntu (they are installed to sda). – Zephy Jun 2 '12 at 10:56
Which version of Ubuntu have you installed? AFAIK, the grub will contain normally an entry for the Windows and it will take you to the Windows Boot Loader with all the Windows Versions installed. Hopefully, instead of update of the grub, if you can do a new install of the grub using the following command can be of help for you: sudo grub-install /dev/sda – RinoTom Jun 5 '12 at 15:31
