Our sysadmin folks did some patches and somehow uninstalled Paint. (They uninstalled Media Player too.) Didn't even know that they did it until I told them. ~~shrug~~
Anyway, where should Paint be located? Maybe the installer will be there.

It should be located in C:\Windows\system32 To install windows software, you need to go to add/removes program -> add/removes windows component. |

Insert the XP Installation disk and then:
Paint is under Accessories and Utilities. |

If your sysadmins uninstalled paint, you should probably buy them a big gift. No one in the last three decades should have ever used paint. If you need image editing, at least ask your admins to install Paint.NET. Either way, it's not your place to go behind admins backs trying to reinstall stuff they took off. They probably did it for a good reason. Such as paint sucking. |
