Using Windows 7 Home Premium on Dell Laptop.
All of my desktop icons are now white pages and none of them work. I have had this laptop for about 2 years with no problems until now. Reboot resolves the problem for a few minutes and then it happens again. I can't even use right-click to access Display options. Desktop is completely unusable.
I can access all programs using the start menu. I have seen via internet searches that many people are having this problem, but have seen no working fix or explanation for it. I tried Microsoft FixIt options with no success.
