We have a LPCBX520-A2 (S/N: P382211207) RAID controller which I (think) is an LSI Logic MegaRAID 320-1 that has corrupt firmware.

I need a new BIOS image to flash back onto it. Is this something you guys can help me out with?

What makes you think the firmware is corrupt? I only ask because that's EXTREMELY unusual. – Oliver G Jun 27 '12 at 10:11

Having Googled around a bit, i'm inclined to say you're out of luck on this one. Given how little they cost (some listed for as little as £5 on ebay), i'd go ahead and order a replacement instead. – Oliver G Jun 27 '12 at 11:01

You haven't really given enough information...

For things like a RAID controller, you do not really want to go to the manufacturers website just in case it causes other problems... unless you really know exactly what you are doing.

If this is a chip built in to a motherboard, try performing a BIOS update - go to the motherboard manufacturers website and search for an update.

If it is a dedicated RAID card, find out the manufacturer and do the same - they should have a flashing utility or similar that can help you.

If this is just a cheap unbranded ebay job or similar, you may be better off just buying an identical card any using that.... here is the download page - lsi.com/support/Pages/… - but, sorry, I can't seem to find BIOS :( – William Hilsum Jun 27 '12 at 10:30
