I've just bought a Samsung EX1 cam. I've set it up to behave like a mass storage device, and on my notebook it's working as expected. But when I connect it to my pc, it doesn't work. The device itself is listed under "devices and printers", but the drive lettter doesn't appear. Sometimes a drive letter appears, but the icon is "grayed out" and under properties it has a size of 0.
I've tried to reinstall the usb mass storage device driver, but it doesn't help. I've tried several other usb ports - no success. I also tried to delete some old inf cache files (as described here) - nothing.
When I start windows in protected mode, everything works nice.
FYI: I'm using Windows 7 professionel
