Hi all!

My brother is going away for an postgraduate master in mechanical engineering and design, and he needs to take a laptop with him.

Am looking for recommendations on what options are "out there".

Minimum specs:

4+GB RAM (it should support more than 4, even if at the beginning we only shop with 4)
Good video card (I guess that's going to be the most important point, given the use)
Fast/Good HD (not so important the size, as the files he'll be working on won't be that large)

Apart from that, the usual: Gigabit Ethernet, WIFI, Reasonably good sound.

If it does not weight a ton and cost a bundle, it'd be doubly appreciated
