Aren't the "IP addresses [that] need to be whitelisted" those "listed IP address" from which you "want to access [your] website"? Can you explain in a little more detail? Is your question "How do I find my IP-address?" –  RedGrittyBrick Jul 5 '12 at 10:16
What are the IP addresses we need to white list on our firewalls? –  manojthakur Jul 5 '12 at 10:24
White list on your firewalls the source IP-addresses that will appear in packets from the computers from which you wish people to be able to access your web-server. In most cases these will be the external IP-addresses of routers which perform Network Address Translation. People can discover this IP address by visiting any of dozens of web-services provided for this purpose (e.g. whatsmyip.org) –  RedGrittyBrick Jul 5 '12 at 10:31

If I understand you correctly you created a web page with the ASP.net WebMatrix tool. You could either use a web hoster or host it yourself. Microsoft recommends appliedi . They offer a 6 month free trial and should work well with the WebMatrix tool. Microsoft even has a video for this service.

If you want to host it yourself you need something like a server that is running all day. I then would setup a DynDNS account e.g. with No-IP. You have to configure your Router for this. You have to look in your Router's manual for more information or write your model here. As next step you should assign your ASP.net site a specific port, as it is described here. You have to open this port and port 80 obviously. After this you should be able to access your website with something like http://my-site.no-ip.org:port.
