I use Textmate to edit source that resides in git branches. This is what I am trying to do:

1) On branch A, open file index.htm in Textmate.

2) Checkout branch B, open file index.htm in another Textmate window. (file has slightly different contents).

However, when I change branches, Textmate notices the contents of index.htm has changed and reloads the file. How do I prevent this behavior?

Stock TextMate doesn't do that. Do you use a plugin?

Anyway, because the file has changed on the disk I think it's quite normal for TextMate to reload the file.
