I've got a MediaWiki installed on my webserver and locked down so just I can access it.

I plan to use it to keep track of thoughts and ideas while they are being fleshed out, prior to formally publishing them anywhere.

It works great from the PC, I can easily create new topics, add a few points, link etc

But, I'm not always at my PC when ideas strike. I'd love to be able to use my BB to add pages and edit existing ones.

Unfortunately, while I can click the edit button, all I get is a textbox, with no button to save it!

Does anyone have a solution that would allow me to edit MediaWiki pages from the BB?

I can hack the code if need be, but a ready made skin or plugin would be preferable.

The Blackberry browser is not very good.

Sometimes changing the viewing mode to "Column View" from the Menu can help. You can also play around with the browser settings to see if it helps.

The next release of the Blackberry OS (5.0.0) should have a better browser which will hopefully fix many little quirks like what you're running into.

In the meantime, you might want to try Opera Mini.

Couldn't get Mini 5 working on my 8320, but Opera 4 works, though filling out forms is a little odd. – Chad Sep 21 at 19:47
