I'm looking for a little app that I could run on my Windows Mobile phone. Ideally, this little app would allow me to configure notification sounds based on time of day.

For example: During the day I like SMS/text message notification to be a demure little beep (or buzz). However, I also get system outage notifications via SMS... so at night I'd like that notification to become something loud, long and obnoxious to give me a fighting chance of waking up and hearing it.

Ideas or tips? Seen anything that might do this?

I'm running Windows Mobile 6.1 on an HTC Mogul.

Check out SPB Phone Suite - it has half a dozen profiles that can automatically apply depending on whether you are in a meeting, connected to a bluetooth headset, and based on time of day.

Thanks, I'll give that one a look once my PhoneWeaver trial ends (which I'm liking so far). Will give you the answer to avoid the embarrassment of accepting my own! – Chris_K Sep 26 '09 at 3:34

After some searching, I turned up an older forum thread at xda-developers that has some tips.

I've tried phoneAlarm, but it left me a bit cold. Going to try PhoneWeaver next.

Still open to ideas and suggestions.
