I've got a bunch of images on a website and I want to have thumbnails a user can click on to see the large image. I'm using DreamWeaver and the images are jpegs.

I'm missing the question here – do you want to use Dreamweaver to create thumbnails? Do you just need the images, or do you actually need all the thumbnails in your website to be automatically linked to their originals? What else have you tried already? –  slhck Aug 2 '12 at 21:06
I'm asking what's the easiest approach for having a thumbnail view of an image and click on it to make it bigger. I've been doing each file one at a time and resizing them. One problem I would like advice on is the images themselves aren't even close to starting with the same dimensions, so how should I decide which size to resize them too? –  Celeritas Aug 2 '12 at 22:34

Irfanview does a great job of batch conversions and it's free.

I haven't used DreamWeaver much before; it may well have its own way to automate this.
