Is it possible to convert virtual machines to physical environments?
Creating physical machine from a virtual one

I have found some questions about how to convert a PC into a virtual image. I want to do the other way around: I want to setup a new Ubuntu-PC in VirtualBox and after I have finished migrating all my files, emails etc. I want to use the Ubuntu-PC as my normal PC, so bring it out of VirtualBox. My first idea would be to create this Ubuntu-PC, export this image as ISO on a DVD and finally, mount from a USB-Stick a small Linux and copy the image on my harddrive. But I am not sure whether it is really that easy :-) Are there any pitfalls?
