Are there any laptops with special keyboards for a carpal tunnel syndrome-sufferer? I'm guessing the issue is the key-sensitivity here, but also shortcut keys(copypasta) easily available.

Wouldn't just switching key modifiers around in software (Ctrl on Alt and vice versa) help? –  Daniel Beck Aug 9 '12 at 21:04
Questions asking for shopping or product recommendations are off topic on Super User. I think the general topic has merit though. Try to edit and rephrase your question, e.g. along the lines of "I have carpal tunnel and want/need to use a laptop; what options do I have?"; then flag your question for moderator attention to get it reviewed and reopened. Maybe also take a look at the FAQ to see what we expect of questions on this site, and check out related questions: Maybe this has already been answered. –  Daniel Beck Aug 9 '12 at 21:10
Generally some sort of wrist support is recommended. –  Daniel R Hicks Aug 9 '12 at 21:12
